We're extremely busy as always but I was going to try and get it built after the next Construct 2 release.

I'm completely new to Construct, but I hear that Classic isn't as stable as Construct 2. This is probably a stupid question, but can we expect most of the more notable issues to be ironed out in the r2 release?
AXavierB I don't think so, there are some pretty deep design flaws in Classic, we started Construct 2 from scratch to fix them. Construct 2 is designed to supersede Classic completely eventually, so I would recommend moving up to C2 if at all possible.
AXavierB, no, the stability issues haven't been touched upon in this build. There may have been a plugin stability problem or two fixed. Most of the instability problems are with the construct classic ide itself. There aren't alot of problems with the exe's construct creates. As long as you save often, and to incrementing filenames at least sometimes (ie myproject.cap, myproject2.cap, myproject3.cap, etc) you should be fine. Its very fast and powerful. Just a few quirks to deal with here and there

Will Construct 2 eventually support the export of EXEs? HTML5 only is kind of a deal breaker for me. I don't want game quality to rely on browser functionality.
