Construct 3 In App Purchase not working

  • I suppose I was just frustrated, took 2 months to solve. But we did get it working in the end... So +1 to that.

I'd like to see a C3 based example project in C3 Editor, that'd be great. Also with detailed steps and links, screenshots of what your settings inside the Itunes connect should look like.

I suppose the error should really come back from Apple: "Warning, your IAP will not work because: Tax information incomplete".

    But that's apple for you....

Anyway, I've verified both IAP work on Android and iOS. I'm super happy with C3, it's the best platform in the world I think.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • On testing iap on iOS for the first time today, I'm getting the same crash, so I'm thankful that this thread exists.

Going to try the billing information and see if that's the cause of the problem.

  • I saw a video on TY where the presenter (posted recently) referred to this issue and stated In-App Purchases do not work with iOS and Construct "3". He advised that you export as Construct 2 then everything will go smooth. Not sure if this is still the case, (YT video was very recently posted BTW), but I am dependent on some of the features of C3... Can anyone tell me if this (C3, iOS and inAppPurchases) has been resolved and is working smoothly? Thank you in advance.

  • Ha, I had to google this "Construct 3 iap not working" and I was my own result. So it totally works on iOS and Android if you set it up correctly. I will leave this here from my work, in production app, so there can be no further doubt.

Here's the correct registration for products and price data. (Note I am also saving this data for when the user comes back to the screen next time, as the 'registration' phase is complete. So save those values and shove them in. Somehwhat messy code but just look at the EVENT PROCESS, not the code and you'll be fine).

Thank you very much because they still keep this thread alive, I have a problem at this precise moment, I add the ID of my product for sale and I add complete product registration, I think that up to now everything is fine, I have configured my product in my google play store, but the moment I give to buy it appears to me "The item you requested is not available for purchase" will have some idea about it, regards and thank you in advance for your attention.
