  • Game play is very nice. Other than the engine noise, which just about kills my ears, it's pretty well rounded. All you're missing is car upgrades and more tracks and you've got a virtual sequel to the old game "Super Sprint"

    I have to agree, the engine sound is very badly.

    The upgrades and weapons are coming, with the turret behavior and prediction, it will be possible and simple.

    But first, the sound problem =

    Anyone know how to bypass the "gap" between each stroke when using single engine strokes for sounds? So, it'll turn possible to use a single stroke and accelerate the beat rate when you gain speed.

  • I like it! More maps and upgrades would be a great addition, as others have already suggested.

  • in this game I see many things that I settled for now I'm trying to do:

    track position (first, second, ..) of different cars

    realistic collisions between cars

    win a game (or lose)

    braking marks

    there is a tutorial on these points? Any chance to know how to do these things?

    I saw the videos very carefully, but do not understand the logic of events, possibly because it is my first game and my game's structure is very different behaviors to reach similar results, I would like to understand the logic to move my little project those characteristics

    black tracks (car brakes) are created as particles? I try mak it in my programm, but yours are very good, my not so. Thanks. Julo

  • Hello Alef, they are sprites popped on the way. Make it fade out and you'll have the marks.

    Also, inside the sprite, paint it with semi-transparent black, fading from the edges to the center, finishing in the center with 100% of opacity.

    It will be something like this:

    Where X is 75% of transparency, 0 is 50% and B is 100%

    I'll keep working in this project, also, preparing some class room to Brazilians, where I'll teach and explain how is made a game like this.
