May i ask a question: what's the purpose of ice-cream, i just so curious about it :P

I thought it would be funny to make the health pick-ups chocolate icecream bars, so Beta turned the life-bar into a giant one. When you get hurt, a bite is taken from it :P

The green bar is your stamina. You can tap jump while falling to flap your wings and get a boost, or hold up to 'float'. It's pretty ugly though; I'll probably change it to 3 feathers or something.

The music was made in FL Studio with Tri-Force and Bit Box.

Deadline for entries is December 23rd 11:59pm GMT...so roughly 19 days.

Updated the slide show on the funchowder.com homepage with some newer images. If there is anyone's game I missed, or would like an image added just let me know.

The game isn't stick style, just some sketch i putted on to let you know what this game is.

There's still a long way, lots of system and graphics, hope i can done it before the deadline. I got 10 hours freetime a day and already have system ideals (maybe a bit too simple)so it seems possible. :)

Stay psyched and I'm sure you'll get a lot done before the deadline. :)

I don't think I'll make it in time, I have exams whole next week and I have been studying non stop this week so probably won't even have 1 hour to work on it, but ill try.

Exam season can definately be rough..was hoping most people in school/university would of been done exams by the end of this week,giving them at least a few days of free time before the deadline.

Hope you do well on them, definately don't skip studying time for the competition :P

I haven't got enough time for RPG project, so i'll make a shooter-platformer game. Working hard for the deadline now :)
