That feature hasn't been announced yet, so I thought I wasn't allowed to talk about it lulz
True Valhalla - Kongregate are already accepting HTML5 games, aren't they?
sqiddster - great work, exciting stuff!
EyeHawk, what improvements? I haven't changed the game at all :O
Thanks Ashley ;)
Cool news :)
I just reloaded the game page 4 times and I can't get it past the "use chrome" screen. Nothing responds except for left mouse button which makes a clicking noise. Using updated chrome, and my machine is plenty powerful, and video driver is up to date.
Music ambiance is playing, though.
Oh! I thought the music and UI had been tweaked! Just my failing memory then <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
teahousemoon GAH! I thought I fixed that!
True Valhalla, are you sure? I thought Kongregate got rid of their review process a while back. I could be wrong, of course.
You can put your html5 games on Kong (you have been able to for quite a while) you still need to host them yourself though.
I spoke to Tom Fulp and got Froghead on NewGrounds as well. He is a really nice guy it must be said.
(Im starting to think I have enemies though... It has already recieved some really harsh reviews in my opinion). :/
Not the best way to start your day.
GenkiGenga, I have a feeling these Flash people may not be adjusted to HTML5. My game has had more bad reviews mainly regarding lag and whatnot. I guess they expect the game to work on lower quality browers, as Flash games do?
Don't get down on yourself, you made an excellent game, it's just not something that an impatient crowd like the one you will mostly find on kongregate and newgrounds anticipates. In a downloadable environment, where there is a bit more investment implied with the gaming process, it could find better results.
—, yeah I think your right about that (not that my game doesnt have faults). I should incorporate a chrome message into my future games.
teahousemoon, thank you very much. I think I just need to leave it and focus on the next project or risk becoming bitter lol. :)
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Thank you Very Much For this information.
Awesome to see HTML5 Games on Newgrounds :D
My Account still works... haven't used it in years lol...
I made a bunch of crappy games (literally...) back in the days :P
at this point it would be cool to have a plugin or something for medals..
