Can I make this with Construct 2?

  • klkitchens- Exactly, and it can also be used offline!

Something I'm worried about though is that the Browser memory is apparently commonly limited to 5 MB, which is for the entire Browser and not per page.

On my list is to learn how other C2 programmers deal with this and how much of a problem it is in rl.

Where did you hear that? For any modern device and browser, that can't be true. One uncompressed 1024x1024 image alone takes up 3-4 megabytes of memory, depending on it if has an alpha channel or not.

  • I got this from the manual, but maybe (hopefully) I'm misunderstanding? Ok, re-reading it, seems that 5 MB is the Browser limit for *WebStorage* and since graphics don't go into WebStorage, I take it they don't affect that limit.

It's in the section "Storage per domain"

  • Yeah, the webstorage limit is completely different from the memory limit.

  • sorry, my bad. I used webstorage interchangeably with memory.

Bubble will support Session based data. This data will always be same among all connection. New connections will be updated with the package of data. Updates will sync with the current connections.

We are hoping that once our protocol is worked on a little more to have a initial starting server for developers to use. Not as robust as many out there, but something to start with.
