  • Hello everybody,

i'm new here, so I don't know if this question is a bit strange .

I'm creating a game with an image as my map. After including my mapimage as an Sprite I surrounded it with a collision-polygon. Now I need the height-value of the map for a special x. Because the height of the sprite is always the same (It's an rectangle ) i thought I could use the value of my collision-polygon. Is it possible to do that? I'm experienced with different scriptlanguages too, maybe it is possible to do it this way?

    Hopefully you have an idea,

    thanks for taking you time

  • Hi hi. I'm not sure what you are trying to do but the Y value is always where the origin image point is, unless you add more image points and you can work out the Y of them. The size in the properties bar shows the height of the sprite. Maybe you want something more detailed so please explain further.
