A complete set of tiny sprites and tiles for your retro platformer game.
  • I advice all C2 game creators or players to use internet explores when they are testing or playing C2 games either on the acrade or in any website and localhosts because last time i made a game on Construct 2 when i tested it in Google chrome the texts I putted were scrambled and didnt work and changed their sizes, And there was bugs. when i test it in Internet explorer it worked perfectly believe me 100% <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • One of the purposes of testing is to make sure your application works correctly across a range of devices. If IE works correctly but Chrome doesn't then you should be concentrating on getting it to work in Chrome, not using IE to pretend the problem is not there...

    Agreed.

  • Naji IE does not support webGL or the gamepad API as well as many other issues. You will also find performance issues in number of sprites, sound, etc... IE is my browser of choice but if you actually want to make more complex games you really can't just target IE. I use it as the lowest common denominator for perf though. But as already stated, if you want to reach the widest audience, you cant just target one browser, you need to make sure it works in all of them. Your scenario of an issue in another browser that works fine in IE is rare and most times you will find the opposite. You can't really advise everyone who has much more experience debugging browser issues across multiple browsers that IE is all they should target.

  • It's irresponsible not to test regularly on a range of browsers and devices. It seems a lot of people don't bother, but it's absolutely essential!
