I want to promote my new Windows game on Steam but I doesn't have money to pay the fee to register to Steam Greenlight.<img src="smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
Is anyone know what the free Steam alternatives that I can use to promote my game?
You can try the Greenlight's Concepts section. Games can be submitted to Concepts for free, but they cannot be Greenlit.
Humble store, indiegamestand store, then Desura.
gog.com they allow indie games to sell
Gog will decline most games.
Joannesalfa Agreed with alspal, GOG.com only accepting games based on some old games.
Try the IndieGala, Humble bundle, IndieStars, and Groupee. They have the charity deals, but also some of them have stores.
I do not think they have any sort of filtering system either, any piece of turdware is accepted. Even non-complete games.
