Instructions

There isn't a big story that has been mentioned in this game but the sequel I wanna make will have some story. the reason I did this is because. its my first real game and I am still not the best at making good stories. so yeah.

  • I just tried slope free Simplicity and found it fascinating how the game mixes simplicity and challenge. I'm intrigued about the design decisions—what prompted you to make the visuals so simple?

  • Yeah this is the kind of game that just works because it keeps everything simple and focused, you learn the basics fast but still want to keep going to get better with timing and movement, especially with that double jump flow. I like how nothing feels overcomplicated and you can just enjoy the loop without distractions, and that is probably why I tend to look for the same kind of clarity in other things too. It is not exactly the same thing but it is that same feeling of knowing what you are getting and how it works without digging too much. Makes everything more enjoyable when it is straightforward like this.

  • yeah I messed up the sprite but it now looks better in my opinion. so I think I will keep it that way.
