  • We did run a beta period, not many people joined in. I'm happy with how things have turned out, all the issues so far appear to be cosmetic which are all easily solvable. Just bear with me.

    Robot check is not every time, it's mainly for new users. It'll go away if you keep posting.

    Links/formatting in imported posts needs fixing, it'll be fixed soon don't worry.

  • Highly unlikely I'll be adding in an alternative theme, but I will work on improving all the layout and CSS. I'm hearing a lot about how the colours are horrendous, (I think they look good!) but might get Paulo to take a look.

  • Welcome to the new forums! We're aware of some issues which we'll be cleaning up.

    Our new forums are now hosted on Construct.net. The old forums on Scirra.com now redirect here. However the rest of the content on Scirra.com, such as Construct 2 downloads, is still there. Here are some links:

    1. CSS needs improving on mobile view
    2. CSS needs improving on post rendering
    3. Post formatting needs cleaning up on imported posts
    4. Page performance of main forum home needs improving
    5. Search feature needs to be implemented
    6. Username references need to issue notification
    7. Mods needs to be able to see reported posts
    8. Active users to be shown
    9. Pagination for topic too cramped when hundreds of pages of posts

    If you come across any more issues, please post here and I'll add them to the above list. Bear with us - it needs to be working before it can be made better :)

    The build service is part of the product not the product. Things break - but we're always learning and working out why they break then move forwards stronger for it. Locking this thread as it's run its course.

    Please read the following information about Construct 2 educational licenses. It contains important information you should be aware of.

    Construct 2 -> Construct 3 upgrade

    • New educational subscriptions will not be able to upgrade to C3 for free past 30th April 2018.
    • Existing customers who are currently subscribed prior to 30th April 2018 and who have not cancelled their C2 subscriptions will still be able to upgrade for free at any time going forwards so long as the subscription is not cancelled before arranging the upgrade.

    Construct 2 Educational License Support

    • Construct 2 educational licenses will continue to be sold until academic year 2019/2020
    • Past that period, existing subscribers are welcome to continue subscribing indefinitely
    • Past that period, we will not be accepting new customers for C2 education

    Construct 2 Educational License Pricing Changes

    • On 30th April 2018, a C2 site license is being increased in cost to £349.99 GBP/ $499.99 USD / €399.99 EUR respectively for annual license.
    • Monthly licenses increasing to £49.99 GBP / $64.99 USD/ €49.99 EUR
    • These prices exclude VAT where applicable
    • Existing subscribers continue to pay the price they subscribed at (no increase)
