Notes

A late change in the r478 beta release caused an issue that meant a number of projects would fail to open. We're releasing this beta patch release to fix that and ensure normal testing can continue with this beta release.

While we're doing a release, there were two other issues we have fixes for. These may be part of an upcoming stable patch release so we're including these to verify the fixes are OK.

  • I still feel that the old version of 3LTS is better to use. The new versions are all unstable. Every time I package the new version, I encounter all kinds of problems. I don't want to use the new version. But some products can't open the old version. Could you please let me always choose the stable old version? I don't want to solve all kinds of packaging problems every time, mainly because it's different every time and new problems will arise!

        If you run in to a problem with a newer release, please file an issue following all the guidelines. You can stay on an old LTS release for a while, but it will eventually stop being supported and sooner or later you'll have to update.

  • Hey, found a bug with 3D models...

    I've had it happen in two scenarios. 3D models do not load when restarting a layout. I exported to Windows(webview2) and ran the exe. 3D models did not load in layout when it started. I attempted to add persist to all 3d Models and other associated sprites/etc but have had no luck. Also seems to happen if it is saved at beginning of layout, the loaded soon after.
