  I don't think anyone has made a comparative benchmark of C2/Starling (first time I personally hear about Starling).

  You can always check this blog article from a few months ago that might give you some informations about C2 performances.

  In the absolute I can't say if C2 performs better than Starling, but it sure does perform well enough.

  Before buying, just build the same project with the free version of C2 and with Starling and do your own benchmark test, it will probably be the best way to answer your question.

  Could you explain what the gameplay mechanics you're trying to achieve is ?

  Providing an exe, is not a smart way to go (I didn't executed it, who knows what it does). I'd prefer a video of gameplay, as well as a clean explanation of what you're looking to do, and even a capx of what you've already done so far.

  All this would greatly help helping you.

  Since the first post, Ashley wrote a complete tutorial on how to work on projects with SVN to have multiple persons working on the same project.

  It does require indeed planning, but also a bit of setting up of the server as well as a common workflow to prevent issues, but as explained in the tutorial, it's totally manageable to handle it.

  "http://www.mysite.com/game/test.php?score=" [b]&[/b] Score

  Where "Score" is a variable.

  Also make sure the application doing the call is hosted on the same URL.

  The pathfind behavior will only calculate one path (the quickest), not several.

  To display that path, the example has a "debug" group I believe that allows to display it, check it out.

  As mentioned, check the pathfinding example as well as read the manual article.

  I have also a tutorial incoming in which I talk about pathfinding, but this won't be published on gamedev tutsplus before late June.

  Have you considered using the search function of the forums ?

  Also considering IRC, if you just come and go, yes you probably won't have a lot of discussion. Go in the room and idle there (either with the mibbit widget or an IRC client).

  Contrary to other instant messenger softwares, IRC clients are generally using few resources/bandwidth, so it's not a big deal to keep the software running in the background.

  That's already what the "Has Nth touch" & "On Nth touch start"/"On Nth touch end" are for.

  If you don't want to register more than a specific number of touches use multiple conditions to check for this.

  Be sure to read the Touch manual article to learn about the conditions you can use.

  Make sure, in the preferences dialog, the "Show start page on startup" is checked.

  The start up page is not a "license only" feature.
