  • In MMF there was an object called the "layer object" that could do things like, sort all the objects/sprites according to a private variable - so you could make it so that the higher the variable then those objects would appear in front of objects with a lower value.

    I tried doing something similar by:

    always - start loop "sdf" 100 times

    then if sprite variable = the loopindex "sdf", then send to front

    but this seems to slow the game down a bit?

  • is it possible to redirect people to the "Behavior" things they look up the awesome spelling "Behaviour" with wiki?

    I thought there could be a conflict due to installing 0.99.4 alongside 0.99.3 (the only other Construct build on this computer) but then I tried uninstalling both and then just installing 0.99.4 and it made no difference. Tried restarting, too.

    I notice this happened earlier when another user was using sandboxie, but I'm not. I'm just trying to run the program on a normal Windows XP installation.

  • Yeah actually I think I could had a similar problem when trying to use LOS in 0.99.3 as well, so I just ended up not using it

  • oh awesome, didn't get what you meant by "use for not repeat" at first but then realised there was a loop called "for" lol. thanks!

  • Which version are you using? 0.99.4 is having problems with LOS

    If I want to get loop index of that "repeat 4 times" thing would the 'loopindex' thing retrieve that or the "for each sprite" index?

  • that's weird. i tried to remove the behavour although it wouldn't let me add those body pieces again.
