• I think the are too much incomplete or 'cheep' rushed games on the arcade site that makes it not worth browsing through the games to rate or say your opinion.

So many decent or exciting games are not geting the opportunity to be rated or commented on.

I thinck something should be down about this.

  • Give ratings to the good ones, and help those that are polished up / finished to get more plays. Same goes for sharing via social networks/commenting.

  • Reuben I feel that idea is a little harsh, seeing as some of the files on the Arcade are designed exactly to be short examples or tutorials, or even tests for people making "my first game" submissions. They deserve to be on the arcade, just maybe in a section for small submissions.

It'd be nice if the rating system worked a bit better, maybe something like Ludum Dare where games that have had few ratings are shown in the front page by default, and as they get reviews they head to the back. This way games that get a consistent low rating can be moved to another section or archive.

  • I agree with you.

Maybe there should be 3 main groups,Alpha,Beta, and complete games

    The --------Alpha---------group

should have the test games,so people can rate or comment on the bugs or even suggest changes or any additions which could be added.

This would give the developer a chance to fix bugs or add changes, and even'encourage' them to continue.

    The ---------Beta----------group

should be the alpha game but with the changes.

Commenting on these games can notify the developer of 'last minuet changes' or fixes.

If the rating of the game increases, the developer will know that the changes made is improving his/her game.

But the developer must delete the alpha game.

    The --------complete--------group

should be the beta game but with all the changes done.

Developer must delete the Beta and alpha game or people will continue to rate or comment on something that was done along time ago,and it will remove the clogging up of the games.

This is sort of my idea,do you agree with it?
