RE: How does Scirra know?

You didn't let me get a word in, then again I should have added this to begin with.

It's been 6months and a colleague of mine downloaded a pirated version of Scirra, created a game and is now making $200 daily from an PC/APP he published.

He showed me this, an image of the income the game is bringing in as well as the pirated software: imgur.com/9DD21

There are loopholes and gray areas that can easily be exploited.

Well, he told me he got around the 5,000 payment and it shows.

A game can be compiled as an individual 'desktop/android.executable' so anyone can publish a game without showing... and I'm guessing here... any worded documentation that gets attached to the various RAW folders/files containing the words 'Scirra/Construct/SERIAL/KEY' or similar, will be lost.

You can also go in there and remove it yourself using: [removed]

Making it easy to publish a game without having to pay any of the fees.

So I find it hard to believe Ashley... was just hoping to gain some insight, simple curiosity.
