• well made 3d model HOW NICE is this :)

  • delgado, When you rotate it the shadows automagically and accurately appear on the device! it's really cool

  • 3ds max object can import?

  • Im not sure, maybe

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • 3ds max object can import?

Yes. 3d studio can export to obj files.

  • shinkan Ok dzieki za info :)

  • I got it to work (at work lol!) :D

Pretty cool (when it works!), i really hope you can get rid of the bugs and make it workin every browser :)

  • In which major desktop browsers the Plugin (0.2) doesn't work completly?

It should work as far as good in:

Win XP: Opera 11.11, Firefox 10.0.2, Chrome 17.0.963.56

    Win 7 32bit: IE 9.0.8, Firefox 6.0.2

games in browsers: Has anyone created 3d-games for browers - i.g with unity3d? I suppose that the rendering of the 3d-objects isn't done in the browsers in realtime, or not? The plugin renders an object in realtime.

When you render the (animated) 3D-object to images (image1.png, image2.png,.., image10000.png) with a real 3D-software (-Blender is very good for that-) and put the images on sprites in Construct 2, it' will be much more faster for the user and should work in all browsers.

  • Executing the "Demo + Plugin version 0.2" link from your first post:

    FF 10.0.2 on win7 pro 64 bits:

    Firebug raises this:

    Chrome 17.0.963.56 m

    Console displays this:

2runtime.js:70 Uncaught TypeError: Object inst:t8#8 has no method 'Sa'

Your demos never worked on my browsers so far.

My graphic card drivers are up to date.

For both browsers, it displays the black background, the text and buttons, but it feels like the canvas is not even drawn.

It worked in IE 9.0.8112. A bit slow and not very good looking.

  • Managed to get it working with Firefox(really slow, poor render), but Chrome fails to load it.

I'm not sure how your plugin handles the rendering, but your .obj model apears to be way too complex?

An example 'Blackberry' model on the left contains 282 Points and 560 Facets. (82.kb)

    Your 'iPhone' model contains 29805 points / 53829 Facets (3.8 meg) ! !

Surely this must have an impact on the plugins performance.

    Example model link, if needed:

    Berry.rar

  • Kyatric: Thanks for the details. Should be fixed now.

chrisbrobs: Yes. The model i used was quite komplex to see how long the rendering takes.

  • Working fine on Chrome, 60 fps (nice model by the way!)

I posted links to my collection of low poly .obj models with textures, on the C1 forums:

    LINK

Feel free to use them if it helps.

  • Works now in my FF, good job.

  • it's working now,63 fps on Chrome,excellent good job ^^

  • Very cool! Thanks
