    Genre:

    Match-3

There are 3 levels in the game, and the number of types of blocks increases with each level.

    Controls:

    Mouse to switch game pieces.

"R" key to reset level (once in 100 seconds). Used when there is no alternatives.

"F" key switches between Full screen and Windowed mode.

"Q" key to exit the game.

    Download:

Christmas Puzzle Game v1.6.4.exe (7,7 mb)

Possible bugs: if you switch same pieces, but they don't destroy just disable visual effect pressing "S" key. It'll increase FPS.

    Enjoy! <img src="http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae352/constructgame/ft.gif">

P.S. I did this mechanics on my own, and therefore it may have some errors during game. My next match-3 game I'm going to make on the basis of PixelRebirth's tutorials using Array object.

  • Wow, so christmassy.

The presentation of your puzzle game is done very beautifully. Good job! I would have only wished for a nicer font.

As you mentioned the engine isn't really bulletproof, therefore it'll occassionally not recognize matched blocks properly. Still it's cool you came up with this on your own.

Are you going on a match 3 rampage?

Can't wait to see more games from you!

If I have free time, I will surely create new match-3 game!

By the way, new competition will coming soon on our forum, and I'm going to create a platformer game special for this.

I've found small bug in the game, fixed it and updated the link.

Now is more easier to pass third level.

  • Wow! Very professional looking graphics, with polish to match

I will have to download and try this out for sure, it looks fantastic!

  • Wow very nice looking game, its hard for me to play because in order for me to make a match i have to click on a piece really fast, then click on another just as fast. I cant hold the mouse button down for more than 1/3 of a second otherwise it wont recognise a match. Very nice engine looking forward to your next game

  • Did anybody pass the whole game? Have you seen the end of the game? <img src="http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae352/constructgame/fl.gif">

  • Graphics are beautiful, presentation top notch, but I got really frustrated at gems that match but are not recognized... never got to the ending :s

  • its impossible for me to get to the end because I have trouble matching the pieces with the glitched matching and the time runs out

  • Try Construct 3

  • I like match-3 games and this one looks nice, downloading...

  • Can't get past 1st lvl . Hopefully next version is more playable cause graphics good

  • Hello!

Due to the frequent occurrence of errors, specifically when they match they don't destroy, I decided to increase the time of comparing blocks. Now everything should work without any errors.

Publish a new version of the Christmas Puzzle Game v1.6.4 (link in the first post).

  • Now everything works fine. Good game, actually very good. I've enjoyed it and last screen - nice.

If you did it only on your own, good job. Thanks
