  • Jayjay - huh, you're right. Odd, it used to work...It never worked for me. In fact I became more or less used to always start working on a second layout just in case...but sometimes I forget about it <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I just added a new layout to the promo cap you provided and moved to the top. It worked fine for me. Is this what you mean?

Hmm...this is like that magic XAudio2 bug where some people can't change the music volume I guess. But yeah it works which is really, really odd.

  • I've never had a problem - always works for me. Good job, as I always forget to do something :/

  • Ohh... Weird. On my computer it doesn't work if you drag a layout ABOVE layout 1, but it works if you drag layout 1 BELOW layout 2. Can anyone else confirm this?

  • It seems to work in either direction for me.

  • That IS weird. Anyway, it works either way on mine, either dragging Layout 1 below Layout 2 or dragging Layout 2 above Layout 1.

  • Darn, it still doesn't work doing it the other way for me =/

  • So, I've created my own intro, publish sequence, thingy but it doesn't work when I play it, can someone find out why? cap's here

  • First of all when the timer reaches 1000 (and when the action should start) you move to another layout, that's why it closes.

Second - you have a fairly complicated approach there - I would just use the wait object (or timeline, but that's trickier possibly) to trigger things instead of collisions and such.

So what you could do - just create the necessary objects at the necessary delay and have them fade in and out by themselves.

  • Made a simplified remix of your example - basically everything is just happening and the sparkle effect gets created with a delayed event. If you want the titles to stay on screen longer just edit the "wait" values of their fade behaviours.

    Here it is.
