  • Oh sure, I think that too [Re: SuperV]. I just want the journey there to be smooth

I'm going to go ahead and directly ask you to stop your post battle with 'Mr Sneeze'. He blames you for moaning about the demo, yet he made a point of moaning about my demo. This is clearly not a mind you're going to make any progress with, so forget it. What I think would be funny is if everyone goes and rates my demo 1 star, but we all rated their demo 5 stars. I get a kick out of stuff like that

    Edited to clarify post timing

  • Definitely the way to go with things like this.

But it's still not okay... oh well.

  • Trying so hard to not respond to him and failing miserably. I am at least trying to be polite.

Ok, time to play warhammer or team fortress 2 then

OT : Is there someone that plays steam games? If so, add me : victorius72

  • Good idea.

  • I don't know SuperV, that was somehow more entertaining than Team Fortress 2 ... Warhammer though, you got me!

    BLASPHEMY!

  • TF2 is too much like real life XD Back stabbing guys, turrets blocking a normally easy path and of course the bigger guys with heavy firepower knocking you around!

    Err ... something.

  • Fun as you may find it, I'm worried the download will be deleted or all the comments erased because of all that flaming. That would be a shame, and then the logical thing for the admins to do is simply remove any mention of Construct in case it causes a flamewar, which means my demo goes down too (and TDC becomes like the Clickteam forums ). And that's a whole load of bad rep for us.

To be honest, I'm not happy, guys. You know I only do this in my spare time. You think I want to deal with flamewars?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • If construct gains popularity, be prepared for it. Not only elsewhere, but in this very forum.

It will happen no matter what. So, much like you said not to worry about what they say, you also shouldn't worry about what is said in return -- unless it somehow untrue.

Regardless, I've logged out of there and am done

  • Call it unrealistic to not expect flamewars on the internet, but it's still no excuse to have them in the first place. That download has now well and truly descended from talking about the download to senseless arguing over two programs.

One week bans for anyone else who comments on the download. You have a half an hour grace period to read this message.

As you can see, 20 minutes ago, I stopped it

I probably would keeped it going you wouldn't asked, because these things are pretty ordinary. There are no worries, it's just talking over the internet.

  • I know. I program and give away Construct for free. All I ask is that you don't get in to flame wars in the first place that indirectly damage the reputation of what I otherwise consider to be an excellent program and community.

    Too much to ask?

    Of course not.

Hopefully I made the deadline. I posted my last comment before I noticed your warning.

It wasn't anything particularly flamey, though.

    Too much to ask?

Nope, and I didn't flame. Flame = insulting each other

I just talked much polite as possible and explained my points.
