  • Has anyone else noticed how the family icons are strange? When you draw them you're given a 16x16 box but throughout the application they appear at different sizes.

I added a new family called "map", I drew it at 16x16 but its resized to 8x8?

Then it appears in weird sizes in other places:

I tried drawing them at 32x32, but it only looks good in this box:

But then it gets cropped in other places?

  • I've noticed alot of my icons for anything in events tend to screw up sometimes. Not sure what causes it though =?

  • I hate when the names and icons mix -.- might cause lots of problems if you dont check regularly

  • Also, I would like an option for some custom families not to carry on over different .caps

I was making a game and I needed a bunch of different families, so I created them.

Then I went to another project, and all those families I would never use were there too, even though i'm never going to use them on that project

Also, families icons screwing up have made me to make several mistakes already

  • Found more family strangeness.

    Normal family window:

Edit families window, it's missing a lot of the families?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • The(edit)^custom bmp's aren't automatically copied over if you make a new directory.

True, I still can use family icons from a game I worked on 1/2 year ago.

  • If your asking for an option in the Construct editor, that's probably not going to happen.

But on the other hand there's nothing keeping you from going into the folder and removing what you don't want.

BTW you can select all the bmp's you don't want and right click send to zip, and then select and right click them again and delete.

The zip shouldn't interfere with anything, and the files are there if you need them later.
