A cool way for kids to write and practice English Alphabets
  • Hi Guys, I am wondering if any of you wouldnt mind testing my game and giving me some feedback, its still in early stages and I am hoping to change the graphics when i can find an artist to work with.

Also there isnt much sound yet either, as I said it's in early stage atm.

This is my first C2 game and used it to learn how to use the software.

    Thanx

  • After doing a test for an application for a certain game job, I decided to try and apply the same methods in C2. This is the result:

  • asgloki I like the motion of the tank, and its cannon. good job. I do feel the tank blends in a bit to much with the background. other minor stuff (since I know you are probably planning to update this) has to do with the instructions. I could not read them. I think making them white would help. good work so far...

  • Hi everyone, here is my Scirra Construct 2 test game:

    hellwalker.ucoz.com/index.html

The goal is to make the protagonist reach a little ziggurat. You may drag some shining objects (i. e. arrows, flying island) and put them in place so the protagonist can jump, speed up and change direction right in time. The game is in its early stage, though there are ten levels and basic gameplay.

I guess it is a little bit boring so far, yet I'm trying to improve the gameplay and make it being varied as far as free version's limitations allow me to.

I'd gladly put it in the Dropbox, but due to some weird circumstances it doesn't work properly here in Russia.

  • I'm starting a brand new fan game, in Tribute to my Heroes, they are the creators of Tyrian and Raptor, two old games what made part of my youth.

    http://goo.gl/tfdzl

This is a very first alpha prototype, and I'm using an original spaceship, scenario and bullet for the player, and Tyrian open source resources for the enemies and explosions.

Did you know, Tyrian now is a freeware game? the game opened his source and all his spritesheets after completing 1 million dollar, in 2004, where the developers spread the news! =]

  • I've made 20 levels in total(including boss level), added starting cutscene (yet I have to edit the story text) and menu consisting of sole option START<img src="smileys/smiley8.gif" border="0" align="middle" />, moved the entire project to Google Drive:

    googledrive.com/host/0B8JrX8KnL15lNmU2VzE2aWtFdjQ/index.html

My current goal is to draw a few of various backgrounds and add the sounds and music. After that, if it is still an events within a free version limit left, I will add story cutscenes and try to improve the gameplay.

Being a newbie, I'd be really glad to get any feedback or critics from the community for I've realised there are many of things to learn.

Hey Uncle, that's very nice gameplay :) Please keep working on this. It's not boring at all and very open to improvements! Great idea, it will be very nice I am sure!

  • Windwalker, thank you for the kind words! Boredom is the very thing I am afraid of!

Now I'm inspired and ready to go further!

  • unclejunkie the game have potential! Do you have plans and road-maps or is doing the game by inspiration?

  • unclejunkie

hi; a clever game; I really enjoyed it

  • TELLES0808, well, to be honest, I haven't done a plan or a flowchart, keeping in my mind only the basic concept of the gameplay. I know it is wrong way, but I just couldnt help with inspiration demanding from me to do something simple and concrete. That is why the learning curve is too steep and the whole gameplay isn't balanced that much. Tho usually I do plans and visual schematics for my games(can't put an example for those are interactive fiction games made in Russian). Thanks for feedback, I've instantly got +20 to my Will to Create!

mineet, thanks for support, and best of luck to you all guys, it is pure pleasure to watch for your creative efforts!

  • unclejunkie it's hard to follow, is a philosophy necessary but hard.

I'm doing it on my latest game and the production is going faster then the past projects.

    goo.gl/tfdzl

  • TELLES0808, Yeah, I'll try to follow the correct way, thanks again.

Btw, for some reason, the Golden Lotus doesn't run (;_;).

  • unclejunkie,

very clever gameplay. it even builds tension, when you have to use the same items in different places to keep the character moving.

please continue. it has the makings of a nice touch based game.

  • harrio, thanks! In my efforts of varying the gameplay I tried to make the player drag and drop the objects frequently. I've also tried the game on Ipad, it runs almost fine except certain cases of fluffing off the object when touch it with finger.
