Hi guys, what can I say...it's finally done...at least the first Mission of my game that I will update constantly with new missions. "Space Soldier 23" is a amazing space shooter game where the player takes the role of the space soldier number 23, a soldier of a special force that has to fight against the alien invasion in space. The game is a "action space novel" that evolves it's story from Mission to Mission. It's is a mix of old school gameplay and modern graphics. Already the first level is quite action packed, full of bullets and explosions.

let me know what U guys think about <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile"> it was so much work...and now I am happy to show it to u guys <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

  • Very nice graphics and tunes.

Really looks like a fine piece of work.

    pointers:

first story block was huge piece of text, perhaps show in chunks or as the levels progress?

There were a LOT of meteors everywhere, making it feel and fly rather clumsy 90% of the time. (some meteors looked weird bumping as there were so many)

The bumping of firing looked somewhat odd at first, but I was finally using it to shoot around the meteors to hit the turrets.

imo the game would benefit from a little less meteors and and less fire ricocheting

  • Great effort man.. I had a couple of plays but I'm not sure how well I did.

PS: I agree about so much text, I didn't even get time to read it! Also in the mission briefing. And check your spelling and grammar, e.g. "Steer", "Right"

  • thanks for the feedback
