[SOLVED] Player getting stuck on slanted walls (top down)

For a top down game, my player can walk around. There are solid walls that include angled walls. Since the collision for the walls are angled (stairstep), how do I prevent my player from getting stuck when running along the edge of an angled wall? I want him to easily run along any wall whether it's straight or angled.

Just make the collisions on the angled part like a slope.

(I under stand this picture isn't top down, but the same concept can be applied)
