If yes... It's some strange. Which version of construct you use? Maybe something is buggy. Like some behavior, i don't know..
Also check the points inside your sprites. More points, more memory..
If you use small images, the next step, check the code. Maybe you can change a bit with different behaviors, events, whatever
Intel xdk is slowly compiler. Try cocoonjs, i think you will see difference..
