  • Hi everyone,

I have been having trouble with my game. The main objective of this game is to fly as far as you possibly can. I've had this problem for a while now and I cannot seem to get the background functioning correctly. I've created a new construct 2 game that includes only the background scrolling and tilting. This is one of my earlier versions of the game and if anyone could go into it and find out why it seems to glitch out that would be great!

Thanks for you help, I really appreciate it!

  • First of all, some of your files are missing, C2 won't test for me...but...

Make your BG a little taller than your layout, say 32 pixels taller. Easier to turn on snap to grid.

Make a copy of that BG and paste it above your original. Making sure they both touch. Get the exact co-ordinates.

Backgroundfornow compare Y > greater/equal -32 > system create object > backgroundfornow (put the co-ordinates from the copy you made).

    Also, delete your double post.

  • Thanks! Although I still had troubles. I created a new dropbox file this one where it isn't missing any files. Here is the link to that.

It seems to be really close to working although I can't seem to figure out the problem.
