How do I create custom buttons

Fully commented source code/event sheet & sprites to create a space shooter game

    I have read the manual about the buttons just not understanding it.

    I know there is a way to create custom buttons in Construct but I am just not sure how to do it. I know there is a way to put the css on a button but that is where I am stuck. I'm not sure how to actually do that.

    The type of buttons I am going for are

    Things like those is what I am going for. So if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it!

  • Just make sprites and add frames for different states of the button.

    Mouse: OnClick SpriteButton do Action

  • in order to make buttons like this you need to make sprites , because the buttons only styles basic stuffs text color , background color , text size and border... just basic

    Thanks alot guys that really helped. I am working on something really big and this is one thing I needed to figure out. I'm glad I don't have to mess with any css cause it's a pain. But again thanks guys!
