  • Can anyone, who has succesfully integrated the FaceBook-Plugin, please publish the CAPX. Stupid me, can't get it to work and would like to see a running example.

    Thx

  • Try Construct 3

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • The how do I FAQ has a couple of examples.

You might also want to do a search, in case I missed some topics on the forum.

  • Yeash, there are two examples that does not help me a bit, since they - as well as the tutorial - don't explain the full "scope" of attaching to Facebook. That's the reason I was asking for an example CAPX...

....maybe me is just to stupid to understand the FAQ <img src="smileys/smiley19.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Well the facebook object is pretty self explanatory.

    You add the facebook object.

If you then click on the facebook object whist its in your objects panel(By default, The right hand side), Then look to the properties bar(Left hand side) it will ask for your APP ID, This is given you by facebook when you create a app.

To create a app you need to go to developers.facebook.com and create a app.

Now to use the facebook plugin, call a event like,

    Button - on click

         - facebook - login

This is now set up so you can use the users facebook in your game,

So now you can publish to stream or scores ect, Just play around with it.

Note it will only work once exported, uploaded to a server then give the correct directory to facebooks iframe..

  • Thanks a bunch. I will try this soon <img src="smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hello all!

I've included the facebook object on my project which is live at facebook (apps.facebook.com/galaxium) but it only works for me! When I play the game, I can login, receive high score tables, post new high scores and post on the wall (automatically and with permission). But noone else can! I know I am not using the sandbox mode of facebook, the app is live and people can play the game, but not interact with the facebook object functions at all. Any ideas?
