Did you have any tutorial?share it here, and i will upload there.

  • oh thanks buddy! I really appreciate that!

  • Thanks son Hardty really appreciate it

  • wow my name in there! will share more soon enough!

  • I've removed this "tutorial" I'm not sure what the purpose of this really is.

If people want to post their own capx examples, they can do so with explanations and titles in relation to the content of their capx.

I don't think having a random "tutorial" gathering random capxs really helps.

Whatever that you say,you never thinking how difficult when Newest Member Learn.

Like me,First time i use C2 on Desember, and i always fail with my games, why? it was because I did not find any examples what I want with my games,so,i want to make this tutorial for everyone,hmm.. yes, like you say, this is not like a tutorial, but sharing every Capx Examples from all of C2 Forum members not matter right?

Maybe you will ask me for share it just on Forum Topic, like this.

But i think it will not useful,First time every newest C2 Users will read the Tutorial Topic other than forum.

and they not find what they want on Tutorial Topic.

  • There's this, which has a large number of examples & tutorials:

Don't know when it last had stuff added, but maybe Kyatric would add to it if there were new suitable tutorials &/or examples.

  • If you really want an answer to a specific question, you could check tutorials and the forum. If that doesn´t help, you can even ask for help. It´s not always a capx that helps...it´s understanding.

No need of another random thread/tutorial section etc. I´m totally with Kyatric here.

  • In way Kyatric is right but, we should not argue among our self. What is the point? I would say if person have no copy right then other person can use it free and expect that person to give you credit. Like Hardty given credit.

Firs time users look in the tutorials I doubt anyway they will go look for a "all user capx forum random" anyway.

Also, you just threw random CAPXs all-together, without any kind of explanation whatsoever.

A new user would just arrive on your "tutorial", see a list of capx without explanations, wonder if he's supposed to download each capx one by one and try them out to understand them.

Some might do, most of them will call it bullshit and move on to another tutorial, or maybe even go post in the forums for something that's already answered out there.

Once again, it's indeed a good idea to post those capx example as they are useful. Nevertheless, I believe each of them author should do it, in its own dedicated tutorial/capx example, with a proper title, proper tags for research and a quick explanation of what to expect from the capx.

This way, it is useful for whomever does search in the tutorials section.

A catch-all tutorial is just not that useful at all in the end. And I don't think it's really worth resources for new comers at all since they can already find those examples on their own when searching through the forum for specific topic/keywords.

Edit: I've just also noticed that this very topic was randomly placed. Moved it to a more appropriate forum.

  • Unfortunately from what I have noticed from the questions asked from many young users , they don't bother to read the manual or the tutorials .

  • But as Kyatric has already mentioned, a bunch of randomly listed capx, with no real context, will not help anyone.

Any forum user (new or old), will have a much better chance of finding what they need by carrying out a search which will return results relevant to the search terms they use.

And I have to agree with Kyatric myself. There's no point in a whole bunch of random files thrown together because, most importantly, they are being taken out of their context.

Now on the other hand, I think it may be beneficial if someone took these examples, annotated them to be readable, and placed them in a forum thread rather than a tutorial. Make it a community effort instead of a dumping ground. That way we can have a good source of example files that are useful to pick up and go, and have context for what they are trying to show to the average C2 user.
