  • Really cool! Good job! Nice "feeling" when playing!

The level design feels like SMB3 (snes version) but the enemies looks like SMB2.

Just one small thing, maybe some more enemy examples, i'n not 100% sure about the mouse sprite... but that's just me

You have designed the three levels in Tiled () ?

Thanks! What enemies would you like to see? What would you like to see changed regarding the mouse sprite?

Yes I'm using tiled, although you can modify levels directly in the layout editor.

I actually really like 2 and 3.. although I like world and more recently 3D world has been pretty big among my kids and I. Even my wife plays that one!

  • 1-Are these sprites and songs for commercial use?

2-I would like to see more enemies.

3-I would owe a yoshee mount.

4-I would like to see the phase selection in 3d.

If you can do what I'm asking, I'll buy your art.

Hello! Would you like to send me a private message with some further detail? Particularly on number 4. As per number 1, here is what the store FAQ says:

    "Commercial Projects

In summary, one purchase of a Royalty Free licensed asset allows you to use the asset in one commercial project. If you wish to use it in more commercial projects, you'll need to purchase the asset again for those projects.

    Non-Commercial Projects

If you purchase an asset, you're permitted to use it in unlimited non-commercial projects. Please refer to the license itself for exact definitions.

Don't forget, if the item has an exclusive price and you decide to purchase it at that price, you're permitted to use the asset on unlimited projects."

I would be happy to work with you to supply you with some custom functionality and artwork - just shoot me a message!

With a world map? I started working on that and originally wanted to include it with this release. It's actually a pretty huge feature, so I'm not totally sure how to include it - maybe a separate download?

I have a few enemies planned and some newer features like tunnel warping - what enemies were you hoping to see? Feel free to pm me if you want to talk personal customizations.

  • Some new stuff coming soon:

  • Wow, I like it! Bought it from the Store today Some stuff I was wondering....

    1. To make a new level, can I just duplicate an existing one and edit it? How do I then add the new level to the level select screen?

    2. Is it possible to have it so that the camera doesn't always follow where the player is facing? If you're just flipping the sprite and not really moving, it gets a bit jumpy (hope you understand what I mean

I noticed that when you die, sometimes you can press the pause button and you get the pause window under the game over window.

    Thanks!

Those are great questions! Can I shoot you a PM? Also thanks for pointing out that oversight - I'll fix that in the next version, and I'm planning on fleshing out the documentation as well as the beefing up the level select screen so it's a BIT more automated.
