Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • Hi Guys,

Today(2018) is possible to create a game completely made on Construct 2/3 for XBOX One (ID@XBOX)?

My game passed for publishing and i am waiting devkits right now and i want to know if we can proceed using Construct 2 for final release or if i have to change to Unity or another engine.

    Thanks

  • Both Construct 2 and Construct 3 support publishing and integration with Xbox Live.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • But what I want to know if I am able finish a game and publish on Xbox one using idwbf@xbox. Do you have some tutorial post helping with that?

  • Best advice, go with native for this one. You don't want to be one of those who have to do native ports which cost thousands of dollars or revenue share just to get your "already developed game" not go to waste.

Even though advertised, Construct 2 or Construct 3 doesn't have the fair enough tools to handle ID@XBox games.

Construct 2 or Construct 3 is very competent for Web Games or Light Mobile Games, only fine for Intensive Mobile Games or Desktop Games and bad for Console Games.

This is because Construct 2 or Construct 3 uses HTML5 technology, it is best for lightweight apps or web apps.

edsonticjoy You can reconsider if you are making Web Games, Desktop Games or Mobile Games just not for Console. I'm sorry Ashley, I know other platforms can do fine with Construct, but you could have saved someone by saying No.

Yes, have a look at the tutorials section: Using Xbox Live in UWP apps

  • yeah, edsonticjoy. I agree with it.

Any tutorials for it or not? Where do I find?
