  • First just a quick thank you for this programming enviroment - ideal even for idiots like me!

I'm not actually using it for games, but instead for adding effects and doing brickfilm type animations. Sometimes stop gap is tricky and using construct I can cheat, and just animate sprites of the lego instead. Once Ive made the animation in construct, I turn it into an AVI

with camstudio then convert it to an .WMV which I can then compile in windows movie maker to make the final film. As long as you make sure the animation is the same size as the final film it comes out pretty good

So far I've used construct with 2 of my films.

The first was "Lego Evolution" and I used construct for the main timeline sequence.

The second film was the "Highwayman" and I used construct for the spaceship scene

and the rain effect at the end.

    Thanks again and enjoy.

  • that really cool man! ive thought about using construct for animating myself, but i never had the drive to finish any of my attemps, and i was unsure how to go about recording my work. it looks like camstudio works alright, maybe u should try fraps tho, youll get a much better quality video.

I'll have a look at Fraps for next time. Thx.

  • Hehehehe nice videos man, very creative! I can't believe I haven't seen them until now. I used to love making stop motion stuff... it would be fun to get back into it.

    Keep 'em coming!
