This is probably something very easy, but I don't see the forest for the trees. How can I get rid of this ugly (and much too large) font, that is used since I switched to .96 of Construct?

You need to get the "Segoe UI" font. It's included with vista, but xp doesn't include it. I was able to find it with a google search of "Segoe UI download".

Ooh, is this affecting many people? I didn't realise it didn't come with XP by default...
It's probably just a matter of taste. It doesn't bother or affect me, or the usability of the program (for me anyway). Just my 2 cents.
