Ok I need your opinion(s). In Super Ubi Land, you will have the option to help out the Queen of Climate Island. You will collect her lost children throughout the land in various levels and bring them back to her to get rewards like keys to unlock certain levels.

I'm trying to decide whether to go with the character 'Mama Fly' or 'Honey Bee.'

Which character should make the cut?

Bees are so overrated.

I'd definitely agree that bees are overused, but do you really want players collecting maggots?

Hmm...

I had tons of people on facebook vote for Honey Bee so I just decided to go ahead and make her. Working on her lair where you go return her children that you find on your adventure.

The children will be drawn to be just little bees or something. Wont be drawing larvae... or I could draw larvae but make them look more appealing.

I bet you could make some really cute larvae. In regards to maggots, I was talking about the fly option ;)

this might sound weird, but looking at the original title, with the 'ubi' in white and the 'land' in green. you could put both together with a 's' and have both 'ubis land' and 'ubi island'...

Yea I was thinking that it's too similar to Super Mario Land even tho it started off as a straight homage game. But I'm molding it more and more into it's own thing so I need to change the name. A lot of people on my facebook like the name Super Ubi Land but it has to go. I suggested Ubi Island and they were all like make it 'Super Ubi Island!!!" so whatever I guess.

For me 'Super Ubi Island' and 'Jump Jump Ubi' sounds the best.

Well. It's settled. I'm going with Super Ubi Island from this point on. Still not much a departure from the whole mario thing but I guess it's different enough. Thanks guys.

I finally got around to working on the main crash site where Ubi's ship will be. You basically are going around Climate Island looking for the pieces to restore Ubi's ship so he can leave planet Earth and make it home safely.

This area of the game has real mellow/moody music.
