It's very basic. The above link includes the game, and a link to the .capx file. It's a bit of a mess, and I was halfway through making the game before I figured out how to add functions (apparently it's a separate object?).
It's fairly self-explanatory.
Pretty cool actually. Just so you know: the "sell all of selected stock" has a bug in it and doesn't work
Yes, I'm working on learning Construct 2 by recreating various Dos Games.
Oops. Thought it would work. Made a mistake with a nuance of Construct 2, should work now.
Now it's version 1.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
still not working :)
If I sell all selected stock my stock gets sold but I'm not receiving any money
still a fun game
Refresh. Construct 2 games have a bad habit of caching themselves.
right, my bad. works perfectly :)
If you leave for a few minutes all the stock starts getting minus and you make money plus get stock ;) Nice idea though.
Oh right, it should be more balanced now.
make icons and interesting music for it
Very interesting. I wonder if it's possible to have this connected online somehow, so we're all playing with the same stock market. That would be pretty interesting.
A standard online stock market would make it interesting =P
I can still get to minus figures but its much more stable. Still a neat idea. Reminds me a little of the old drug wars games where you buy and sell to make money.
Yes, that's the intent, old style minimalism. I'm probably going to scrap the current system eventually, and use an array (or add 7 more number variables) to simulate a better price system.
cool...!!!! <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
