  • Hello.

I would like to share a game that I have been messing with for a bit.

    Link - The Grae Mezzanine

If I had to throw it into a genre box, the box would be labeled...

Physics roller, puzzler, gravity-flipping, platform thingy with touches of bang-bang and treasure grabbing.

It is only one level and as you will see, the assets are not up to snuff.

Please give me feed-back concerning the game-play.

Left and right arrows: Move player

Up and down arrows: Jump and stop or stop and jump, depending on the gravity

    I key: open the inventory

Ctrl key: toggle lock and unlock on closest baddie when holding the gun

  • Reduce screen shake and that red damage filter thing. I got so frustrated that I closed the browser window. It is hard to tell player from enemy. I'll try it again when my frustration level has gone down.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Thanks for the brutally honest feed-back.

    I will tone down both.

    take care.

  • I yanked the red (for now) and reduced the shake frequency and magnitude.

As for the Enemy sprite, it is place art.

I am working on the game mechanics first and then the graphics, sound and music.

The link in the first post is updated.
