does anyone have a capx example or an advice on how to replicate the Atari centipede movement? For example, the [1] changing directions as moving down, and [2] breaking into different/independent formations once a link in the middle is shot.

any help would be appreciated. thank you in advance for your help.

Asmodean Cool example!
In "bullet collision with Enemy" event, pick first instance of the Enemy sprite (or the instance closest to the bottom of the screen) and destroy the bullet, or disable collisions for it.

I tried with 'pick first instance' but it didn't work either (with bullet destroy). It seems that the collision is triggered twice. So there is every time only the bullet and one element from the centipede what causes the collision.

I fixed that with a global variable. It doesn't looks very nice but it seems to work (at least I hope so)
