amazing template of the game of ordering colors with strings made with construct3 (requires c3 license) optimized with j
  • I was just messing around with wine and it ran the installer with wine and I managed to get it running

I tried to make a .app file with wine but it didn't work. If anybody knows more about wine perhaps this could work. There are a whole bunch of 'wine tricks' that might make it work.

    Thoughts?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • let's just say that you are able to make a working wrapper for the application, than you make games on it..it will impossibile to release an exe file of the game because the wine wrapper doesn't allow to do that..

(i have an imac..i used to create wrapper too so...)

but you can make a game with C2 on windows and then convert it with wine to make it avaible on mac's ;)

    (btw great job ;) )

  • All I really want is the editor to run on the mac. :)

  • I just develop on my ubuntu, works fine with wine. Im not sure if the Settings are the same between Linux/Mac but I could post you what I changed

  • That would be fantastic!

  • excellent!

  • LOL. Having C2 be available on the mac would be awesome.

Would you mind posting your setup (i. e. full kernel version, GPU drivers, etc)?

Construct 2 isn't very stable for me (Ubuntu 13.04, Linux Kernel 3.8, AMD fglrx 12.9) and won't even display the items (sprites, buttons, etc) I place inside it.
