Student opinion for Education

Hello Everyone,

How are you ? I am sharing my opinion about Education.As promised I am coming to you today to reveal the results of the Teachers Opinion survey. Like in the previous Student Opinion results, this survey was to reflect how individuals, in particular Educators, felt towards their experiences within the Educational system. Overall, the survey asked for the opinions on varying subject matters ranging from class subjects, teachers, educational research and the future of Educational institutions. The participants included a mixture of both male and female teachers with an age range of 25 to 50. So, while the survey did not examine effects for gender or for age, it is safe to say we have a wide range of opinions.

In terms of what Education should be for students, there was a strong agreement that Education should be a tool for career preparation, similar to the results of when Students took the Education Opinions survey last week. However, teachers felt more strongly that Education should be a place where one can develop intellectually (83.3%) as compared to students. This was a similar trend in how teachers felt Education should foster self improvement, with there being a higher percentage of agreement amongst teachers when compared to students.

As an educator with 6 years of teaching from grade school to college, I see more faults than benefits to go to college and go into debt. Moreover, the fact that most programs do not teach basic coding really bothers me. Thus, I am glad I was given a chance to teach 6 students who wanted to learn how to make a video game the basics of how the internet works, and how Construct 2 works. However, I don't feel and contend with many experts that you need to go to college to get a good job with all these forms of alternative education and funding from projects to research. Colleges in themselves are awesome and help make the world a better place by creating research and developing projects that are not just centered on making money, but too often too many people are going to school when they don't really need too because they think they have to. Just my opinion.

I think that college is really important if you want to have a "bright" future, no one will hire you without a solid educational background.
