In co-operation with NewGrounds.com we're excited to announce a new Construct 2 game jam!

Theme

The theme of this jam is "The Future: 2030". What will the future look like in 2030? Will flying cars actually be a reality? Will we be living in a utopia or dystopia? Are robots doing my washing yet? Are we all living underwater from global warming? Can we holiday on the moon?

All types of games are allowed as long as they have some element of the future in 2030 in them!

Prizes

There are an amazing selection of prizes for this competition! NewGrounds is providing some very generous cash prizes, and there are some Construct 2 licenses and Amazon vouchers to be won as well!

1st Place Construct 2 Business License and $400 Cash
2nd Place Construct 2 Business License and $300 Cash
3rd Place Construct 2 Business License and $200 Cash
4th - 9th Places Construct 2 Personal Edition License
15 runner ups $25 USD Amazon Voucher

Rumour has it, there might also be a few flying monkeys thrown into the mix as well!

How to enter

Build your HTML 5 games in Construct 2, and submit them on NewGrounds.com tagging your entries with the tag "construct2030jam".

You're allowed to enter as a team, but the prize can only be delivered to one person (it is up to that person to distribute the prize amongst the team).

You're allowed to submit as many entries as you want. All entries must however be made fresh for the jam (you can't submit games you've already published elsewhere).

Closing Date

The closing date for this competition will be 15th of June, so you have plenty of time to start submitting your entries!

Best of luck!

We can't wait to see what you all come up with! Good luck building your games! What do you think the future will look like in 2030?
